Parkings and Transportation in Strasbourg

If you're looking for the most convenient way to park your vehicle, we recommend using the P+R parkings. These park and ride facilities are the best option as they also provide a round-trip tram ride for all occupants of the vehicle. The P+Rs are strategically located near stations, so you can easily reach the city's tourist spots!

If you arrive by car, the best option in terms of price and safety is to take advantage of these park and ride facilities (relais) for only €4.20 per day. For example, you can park near our Imperial German Quarter and European Parliament Free Tour at the Opera Broglie Parking or the Historic Center and Petite France Free Tour at the Historic Center Parking, which is near where our tour ends.

If you're arriving by motorhome or tour bus, the P+R Elsau is an excellent option for parking your vehicle. The rate is €6.10 for motorhomes less than 3m in height and €18.60 for tour buses and motorhomes over 3m in height.

Now, if you're short on time and prefer to stay as close as possible to the end of our tour, the closest parkings to the cathedral for 3 hours at €4.80 are:

1. Austerlitz Parking, a 7-minute walk from the Cathedral
2. Bateliers Parking, a 5-minute walk from the Cathedral and finally...
3. Place Gutemberg Parking, the most central and practical of all (+ price) 2 minutes from the Cathedral
